Verdict

Windsor winner Free Verse finished a close-up third on her handicap debut at Goodwood and has the best form, although today's longer trip and soft ground are an unknown. Feelthedifference got off the mark on a fast surface at Beverley last month and she too can figure if handling the underfoot conditions. However, a chance is taken on ANNIE WALKER. She has a bit to find on the book after winning a seller over C&D in August, but she went close when second on her handicap bow back at this track with Alabanda behind and should improve again. The latter is one of three Tim Easterby runners and See Clearly makes most appeal of those, but Act Your Shoe Size and Royal Majestic could prove bigger threats.
