Verdict
Richard Guest will have a good handle on the ability of his former inmate Tiger Frog, so market confidence behind our selection Jericho III will be a big pointer towards the confidence of the stable today. Six Pack and Wynbury Flyer are others with claims at the weights and can do there bit to make sure this is a competitive affair as things unfold. Whereas, Polish Pilot is a long way out of the handicap this afternoon and, even with is rider's claim, looks to face a much more severe test than he did last time. At the age of nine it is unlikely that John Cornwall's charge has the sufficient improvement still left in him and he is probably best left alone today. Six Pack got the better of a Tiger Frog in a good scrap over course and distance at the start of this month and holds solid claims if repeating the effort this afternoon. However, he is now 6lb worse off with that rival and looks to have his work cut out. Wynbury Flyer is also respected on these terms, as he is now very well treated in comparison to his rating of a couple of years ago. Even so, it a little bit of a guessing game as to whether he can reverse the clock and he again may be just short of the mark. Especially when the claims of Jericho III are taken into account. Guest's charge will be ideally suited by the track, as he likes to have his own way up front. And therefore, is expected to be very hard to peg back if he is allowed an easy lead today.
