Verdict
Not a race for large stakes, so Oso Magic is only a tentative selection to get the better of Hot Produxion and Dumadic, who head the list of dangers. The last named does not have too much to find with the selection judging by the form both ran to when they met at Newcastle earlier in the month and this should be a good battle between them, while Hot Produxion has it all to prove over fences and is best watched on his chasing debut. He was fairly useful at a modest level over hurdles though and a it will not be surprising to see his claims tempt a little support before the off. However, Oso Magic almost certainly needed the run on his seasonal reappearance and, with that run sure to have done him good, Sue Smith's charge is fancied to be too good for this lot today.
