KODI DANCER had plenty in hand when beating Howyadoin a length-and-a-half at Southwell in July and has improved since. He was second off this mark in a big field at Thirsk on Monday and will be suited by a drop back to 5f on today’s going. He does look held by Castan on earlier running at Ripon but the latter is not certain to enjoy much softer conditions. Lumacho won on good to soft at Chepstow and followed up at Chelmsford so can’t be ignored with the lightly-raced Azucena preferred to Dixiedoodledragon of the remainder.
