Bollin Joan has placed twice under Ella McCain and has enjoyed a good season overall. She hated the Fibresand last time and is sure to make this a good test, though will never have encountered going as heavy as this before. Beechwood Jude won over track and trip on the ground in August and both subsequent defeats off this mark have come over longer trips – a return to winning ways looks a strong possibility. Splinter’s win at Musselbugh came in a seller and he’s penalised and Gift Of Kings is 0-7 on Turf and not certain to act on the ground. GLENTIES hasn’t looked straightforward and has just one victory to his name but his latest third on heavy going at Leicester looks decent form and he is back on his winning mark. Where's Jeff is also weighted to go close and could be interesting eased in grade.
