A competitive seller gets proceedings underway. Al Mabrook is taken to score. The gelding from the Kevin Ryan yard ran well on his debut when sixth in a none seller at Sedgefield. He is sure to have come on for the run and the seven-year-old is taken a step down in grade. French Connection was second in a similar grade at Market Rasen last time out. However the winner of that race, Protocol has since been well beaten. Bachelors Pad is also worthy of consideration he has form in this grade and is proven on the ground. Stormy Beech would also have a chance on his best form but that has come on much faster ground. Muhtadi is a course and distance winner but he has shown very little of late. Of the remainder the top weight Dark Victor takes a drop in grade but he has his own ideas about the game.
