Verdict
Van Gerwen went close at Nottingham earlier in the week having switched yards but his best form is over the minimum trip. Captain Dion won in soft ground during the summer but remains 9lb higher than when last successful while the ground is worry for Case Key, who won at Newmarket in August. It was good going when Kenny The Captain scored at Redcar last month but RASHEEQ handles the underfoot conditions and can put a below par run at York behind him dropping back down in class and returning to testing ground.
