Verdict
Boy The Bell had to be hard ridden to justify strong market support over 6f at Southwell earlier this month and it's not certain that this drop in distance will suit. Red River Boy and Windjammer are among several previous C&D winners in opposition, but both have been off the track for a while unlike KYZER CHIEF and Spirit Of Coniston. The former had the latter behind when successful here at the start of the month and the return to a faster surface can see the top weight recapture the winning thread.
