Verdict
A few of these look to be in the twilight of their careers and the likes of Green Manalishi, Mr Wolf and Ryedane all look worth taking on again here, even though all three are potentially well treated. Taurus Twins and Select Committee both disappointed last time and Bronze Beau still looks too high in the weights. Last month's Musselburgh runner-up Verinco has claims, however, as does DESERT STRIKE. Alan McCabe's five-year-old is still chasing a first win on turf but was only beaten a length off this mark at Newmarket last week and will never get a better chance to put the record straight.
