Verdict

This is a weak race that will not take much winning and Mama Jaffa looks to have the best credentials with Sea of Happiness our choice to chase the selection home. Mama Jaffa ran with promise behind Phamedic at Hamilton last time and natural improvement would make her the one to beat. The only doubt could come with the step up in trip, and if the Karl Burke charge fails to stay, then Sea of Happiness could be the one to profit. Sea of Happiness ran poorly last time but had previously caught the eye staying on well over a mile at Brighton. Staff Nurse has been pretty consistent and might not be too far away at the finish, but we are happy to side with Mama Jaffa who should take all the beating.
