In depth

Verdict

Bowling Along can take this moderate contest with Kalush and Graceful Air the others worthy of consideration. The selection will appreciate this step up to seven furlongs and is a fairly consistent sort so should go well. He ran poorly on his penultimate start at Leicester but connections reported that he ran flat. His third at Catterick last time signalled a return to form and a reproduction of that effort here should be good enough. Kalush looks exposed but is in good form and ran a cracker at Thirsk earlier in the month so could take a hand in the finish here. Of the rest Graceful Air has a tendency to run a bit keen but has shown ability and if he settles could go well. But Bowling Along sets a fair standard and we are happy to take a chance on the Mike Sowersby charge.
