Verdict

Cap Du Nord and Western Morning were due to run yesterday but both would have chances if turning up here, though the latter would be carrying a 14lb penalty if he won again. Goodthyneaway has been a 100/1 chance in his last three starts and never looked like winning while Away For Slates had been in very poor form over hurdles before a much-improved run over fences at Plumpton. BEST TO COME has run two fine races at Sedgefield since joining Keith Dalgleish and was only beaten a neck last time. He won't get many better chances though Ask Paddy completed a hat-trick around this time in 2017 and could go well if ready after a long break.
