      Verdict

Essenza is having her ninth start of the campaign but she’s gone close a couple of times over this trip and was only beaten half-a-length over 6f here in July – she finished ahead of March For Men last time at Carlisle. Heartstring is probably a few pounds too high but hasn’t been disgraced in any of her three runs to date. Valentino Sunrise won on her only previous run over 5f at Ffos Las but couldn’t take advantage of an apparently lenient mark at that track subsequently. KALISSI (NAP) only won a claimer here in July but was just beaten making her handicap debut at Chelmsford last month. She could have done without a 2lb rise but is reunited with winning rider Ben Robinson, who takes off 3lb, so might be the one to beat.
