In depth

Verdict

PREACHER MAN was returning from more than a year on the sidelines when second at Ffos Las. He was the only one backed against the odds-on winner and has clearly retained plenty of ability so should go one better here. On all know form, this is effectively a two-horse race unless newcomer Glorious Jem proves above average with the four-year-old Shawaamekh the danger having placed in his last three starts. He proved he handled ground with some give at Thirsk last month.
