Verdict

Chain Of Beacons last won a race two years ago and is flattered by his form figures though is 6lb lower than that winning mark. The four-year-old Enforcer, a winning hurdler, lost a shoe when runner-up at Plumpton last month. That was only his second start over fences and he's had wind surgery so hopefully he can show some improvement. Padding is the only one of these to have won around here but that was almost two years ago and he's only 4lb lower. Winning point-to-pointer Moores Novelty has started favourite on both starts for Dan Skelton but shown nothing so the vote in a poor contest goes to STORMBAY BOMBER, who has managed a couple of victories over fences in similar grade and ran quite well in a better class contest at Musselburgh a couple of weeks ago.
