Verdict

Finn Class has been upped 6lb for finishing second at Ayr but Ralphy Boy is only 3lb higher for winning at Musselburgh last time where he beat Regal Dan by a nose. Fieldgunner Kirkup was winning on fast ground for the first time when successful at Redcar last month and has won over this shorter trip before. He can figure again with Rob Hornby's allowance negating a rise in the weights but EVANESCENT is just preferred. The latter returned to action with a second at Thirsk three weeks ago and the course and distance winner is re-united with winning partner Josh Doyle for this.
