Verdict
SUMMER TIMES was the only debutant in a similar race here three weeks ago and didn't appear to be fancied. However, he made a very encouraging start when going down narrowly to Tachophobia and will be very difficult to beat with normal progress. The winner is trained by Richard Fahey, who runs Muhaarib Al Emarat and Elevator Action here. The former, a son of the speedy Approve, didn't show much at York on his debut but wasn't expected to and should do much better this time while the latter has plenty of pace in her pedigree and will have come on for her run at Ripon where she stayed on when getting the hang of things. Siren's Cove has run twice at Yarmouth, both times staying on over the 6f and suggesting a longer trip is required so this sharp track doesn't look ideal. Strategise didn't get the clearest of runs on her debut then ran poorly after missing the break at Windsor though that didn't look her true form.
