For Pleasure won twice on the Flat in Ireland and ran well for a long way before falling at Ludlow on his hurdling debut at Ludlow. Frame Rate had shown little on the Flat or over hurdles before a much better effort at Musselburgh when Valkenburg was 6l behind. TRAVEL LIGHTLY, a winner on the Flat in July, made her hurdles debut in a Wetherby Listed contest and ran much better than a 100/1 chance. She wouldn't need much more to take this and her allowance will help. Liva won a couple of races on quick ground on the Flat while Dagian landed a Bath handicap on good to firm last month.
