Verdict

Trojan Flight, King Harson and Bold Marc all enter calculations and we prefer the claims of Bold Marc. Karl Burke's charge won over course-and-distance and under similar conditions and while the handicapper has had to put him up in the weights for that success, there is every reason to suggest that he can give a good account of himself here. Trojan Flight has had plenty of names called in the past and while he is difficult to predict, he has managed to hit the frame when tried on this surface in the past. King Harson managed to be part of one of the most controversial dead-heats of the year at Musselburgh but he put up a big no show on his next start and there could be plenty of grounds for opposition. Ex-Luca Cumani inmate, Titinius showed some form on this surface some time ago so Micky Hammond's runner is noted in the market. Paris Bell has ability although seven furlongs on soft ground will test every inch of his stamina. Moody Tunes should have come on for his latest run as that followed a long absence. A competitive affair in which Bold Marc gets the nod.
