Verdict
A tricky handicap in which Nomoreblondes is likely to be popular having landed a couple of C&D victories in May, since when she's been absent. Up 9lb for those two successes, she is clearly a major consideration along with Almond Branches, an easy winner of a six-runner handicap here in July on soft ground. However, good ground is no problem and another progressive run is anticipated but the choice is JAMESWAY on his second start since moving to Ruth Carr. He has contested much better races than this during the current campaign and performed creditably in all, notably in Class 2 and 3 grade at Epsom. He's a fair shout to concede the weight to the aforementioned rivals if reproducing that standard here.
