In depth

Verdict

IT'S GOOD TO LAUGH won on the Flat at Chester in September before dead-heating on his hurdles bow at Perth. He then won easily at Hexham before an excellent second to Barrichello in a Listed race at Haydock. The winner's yard is represented by River Walk, who won a bumper on this track before comfortably landing the odds at Musselburgh so he's an obvious threat in receipt of 5lb. Dom Perry landed a Fakenham bumper on his debut in February but was beaten 10 lengths into second on his only subsequent start at Perth in April. Easy point-to-point winner Paddy The Horse ran out at Newcastle and is best watched.
