I'll Be Frank gained a maiden hurdling success on his debut in 2009 but didn't run again until last year and he hasn't shown much. Overafrica had been chasing without much success before reverting to hurdles at Newcastle last time and running reasonably well behind Stormion. Everaard won over fences on New Year's Day and was fancied to land a handicap back over timber at Carlisle earlier this month but ran moderately. Winning Irish point-to-pointer IFYOUTHINKSO was struggling in the early stages on his handicap debut over timber at Musselburgh but stayed on late and has the scope to take a race such as this and his young rider's huge claim is a bonus. Mac Steamy ran his best race under Rules over this track and trip and can get involved along with Carmela Maria, who won here in December and will find the ground in her favour.
