In depth
Verdict
A fairly competitive, trappy little heat here with Bluebok, Hypnosis, Ryedane and Fast Heart short-listed and we take Yarmouth scorer Bluebok to follow up. That seaside success for Milton Bradley's five-year-old was a fair bit easier than the official distance suggested and with a penchant for fast ground and just 6lb more to defy he looks more than capable. Hypnosis is a model of consistency and with almost two stone less to carry than the selection she will again be thereabouts on a track she enjoys. Ryedane has been hammered by the handicapper for wins both here and at Newcastle and could not cope with the excess at Pontefract last time. He needs a drop before winning again, while Fast Heart runs well very often without winning. He is starting to drop in the weights but will probably need a few pounds more off yet, and Bluebok remains our idea of the winner.
