In depth
Verdict
Tom George's lightly raced point-to-point winner Swift Thyne could be better than he showed when making his rules debut at Folkestone last month and has to be considered but it is hard to get away from Windy Hills, who gets the vote with Unexplored rated the best of the rest. The selection disappointed when making his debut over the larger obstacles at Kempton last month but, judged by bumper and hurdles form, the Nicky Richards-trained gelding looks well worth another chance in what appears a moderate contest. Point-to-point winner Too Much Talk is hard to weigh up on his rules debut and may be best watched, while stablemate Giuliani looks the clear second string of the yard's runners. Hold The Bid is difficult to recommend on recent evidence and of more interest may be Howard Johnson's Unexplored, who is better than he showed on his last three starts over hurdles of last season and he could do better know switched to fences. In the hope that he shows his true form though it is Windy Hills who gets the verdict.
