Verdict
Our Sheila gains narrow preference over Elegant Times and Catherine Medici in this maiden fillies' stakes. The selection lost no caste in defeat at Redcar last time behind Pick A Nice Name. She was a little unfortunate not to get her head in front on that occasion and compensation could be gained here. Elegant Times was disappointing at Redcar last time but she would have claims today on the back of her effort here back in April when she was third behind Stonehaugh and she is well drawn. Catherine Medici caught the eye on her debut when she was second behind My Amalie. That was over 7f and she gave the impression that she would be suited by a step-up in trip. We are happy to oppose her today over 5f which should prove too sharp. Madam Moschata has a good draw and may prove best of the rest, but for the winner we will stick with Our Shelia.
