In depth
Verdict
The top three on the racecard can fight this one out and we take Beaugency to score, with Humid Climate and Archirondel to emerge as his main rivals. The selection comes from the in-form yard of Richard Guest, who may well have found a good opportunity here at one of his local tracks. He was handled very patiently when staying on for second on his British debut at Wetherby last time out, hurdled well, and looks very much like there will be a fair bit more to come for that experience. Humid Climate is officially rated the best of these and can also go well. He will go on the ground and has track experience here, but he has has a number of attempts and has not achieved anything special yet and he may well succumb once more. Archirondel has the form to also be involved here, and is another who will act on the faster ground, but he has a bit to prove after his latest start, and we take Beaugency to continue the Guest run of form.
