      Verdict

John Ferguson rarely wastes a trip this far north and Denis O'Regan looks a significant jockey booking for lightly-raced former Godolphin inmate CHAT ROOM. By Dubawi, he changed hands for 150,000gns as a two-year-old and can shrug off a lengthy absence to make a winning start to his hurdles career. Four-times Flat winner Las Verglas Star is another interesting newcomer while Artisan, Ironic and the three-year-old filly Miss Conduct have already shown some ability over timber. Madrasa probably has a bit of scope but Sedgefield bumper Mount Hope has disappointed so far over obstacles.
