In depth

Verdict

Dandy Nicholls has three entries with Llewellyn looking the best of the trio though he finished behind SHOWBOATING over the course and distance last time and the winner, who relished the very testing conditions, appeared to have something in hand and can go in again. Several of today's entries were behind but Burren View Lady continued her excellent form at Wolverhampton on the same day though she's yet to score on Turf and was behind Monakova at Newcastle in August. The latter has to be a big threat as she has continued in excellent form and may have been a bit unfortunate in a better handicap than this at York last time. The veteran Beckermet can also get involved in a tight handicap after his recent victory at Redcar.
