      Verdict

      Mixboy won this last year and though showing his wellbeing with a victory over hurdles earlier this month he's 9lb higher than a year ago. DANCE KING (NAP) generally races in better company and probably found 1m2f too sharp at Pontefract last time where he finished strongly. He acts on any going and can return to winning ways. Illustrissime was a surprise winner over the course and distance last time and a 4lb rise shouldn't pose too much of a problem while Midnight Wilde is taking a distinct drop in class though probably needs further. Doctor Cross won a lower-grade handicap at Ripon and is up in the weights while Luv U Whatever has won 15 times in a long career though only two on Turf.
