      Verdict

      Goobinator, a decent hurdler, returns after a very long break and is likely to be seen back over timber before long. Reel Rosie gained a shock victory at Chester then ran poorly from just 2lb higher at Windsor. It's a year since Dark Jedi won over 1m6f on heavy ground at Doncaster and though he's 16lb lower he prefers further than this. ANIMATO, beaten a neck over the trip at Pontefract last month, has raced over longer trips subsequently and looks well enough handicapped to get back on the winning trail though Genesius was a winner at Thirsk the last time he encountered soft ground.
