In depth
Verdict
NONIOS won in this grade over course and distance last month with Secret Art back in fifth. Only 2lb higher today, David Simcock’s charge is preferred to El Ghazwani. The latter beat Mythical Madness only a neck when landing a double at Lingfield recently and is another to consider while Poet's Prince went close at Ripon on his return to action though is still 7lb higher than when scoring here last summer. Big Kitten will be sharper for a recent comeback having been gelded over the winter while North Face has also been gelded having failed to figure at Meydan back in January. Calling Out has struggled recently despite looking fairly treated and gets a change of headgear.
