        Verdict

        Dark Optimist has been highly tried so far but it’s hard to imagine that at least one of the newcomers won’t prove quicker. Falconidae’s pedigree suggests she’ll be better when tackling 6f and a similar comments applies to When Comes Here. FIREPOWER, a son of Starspangledbanner, cost €165,000 as a foal and is out of a useful mare. Clive Cox has already had a two-year-old winner so he gets the vote. Goodwood Rebel, a 30,000gns son of Dandy Man, looks best of the rest.
