    Verdict

Past Master starts the new season on a career-high mark but won twice last year, including once over course and distance. He is much respected having been lightly raced but MANDALAYAN (NAP), from a stable going well, may have the edge in fitness. His second to Eddystone Rock at Leicester is working out well with the winner going on to finish second in the Great Metropolitan at Epsom. Kempton winner Dono di Dio has more on his plate here but Lissitzky should have more to offer this year and Hyanna will strip fitter for a run at Kempton.
