      Verdict

      Baptism is fitted with headgear having returned a losing favourite at Epsom in August when finishing behind the runner-up SOUTH COAST. The latter is taken to confirm superiority today with this extra distance likely to bring further improvement from the Godolphin filly. Bondi Sands could finish closer on this surface having encountered testing going at Goodwood on his debut and he’s preferred to stablemate and newcomer Douglas Fir while Caledonian Crusade makes more appeal than Falcon Claws of the remaining pair.
