Verdict
The penalised Golden Taipan was due to run yesterday at Huntingdon and that may have left the way open for TEA CLIPPER to make a winning start under Rules. Out of a mare that has produced jumping winners with all of her offspring to so far race, he’s a full brother to hurdles winner and a bumper winner and cost €52,000 after winning a point in February. A close second in a Wincanton bumper on his racecourse debut, Chance A Tune is a half-brother to a winning chaser so jumping should be his game. Arrivederci won a Hereford bumper at the end of last year and is another interesting recruit.
