Verdict
Representing last year’s winning yard, Colour Of Light finished ahead of Thunder Lily, Marsden Cross and Moonlet when runner-up at Kempton. But she was no match for the easy winner Kestenna, now rated 99, and John Gosden runs the latter’s stablemate REGENT. A half-sister to the top-class Coronet, the Frankel filly will appreciate the extra distance after placing over 7f on her debut and can open her account. Lexington Liberty ran well over 6f on last year’s debut and is preferred to Cheshire Plain while Aura Blue is a 170,000gns newcomer to note.
