        Verdict

        A valuable contest where former course winner ENFJAAR has the opportunity to prove that two subsequent efforts on turf were all wrong from a formbook perspective. Mostabshir takes a massive drop in class having ran in Group 1 company at Royal Ascot, and the grey has been gelded following a flop in the Hungerford Stakes at Newbury. Urban Sprawl has performed well on artificial surfaces in the past and will receive lumps of weight from the likely market principals. Empirestateofmind has yet to trouble the judge this season but that has meant that John Quinn’s gelding has now retreated to a workable handicap mark.
