Chaucer's Tale escapes a penalty for winning an apprentices’ race over 7f last week but has something to prove over today’s distance judged on an earlier effort. Huddersfilly Town is upped 6lb for a recent course and distance success while Arcadian Sea struggled off today’s mark last time having won here before that. Venetian Proposal hasn’t raced since August so a chance is taken on CEYHAN returning to form now back over a longer trip given he’s tumbled 18lb down the weights since joining Jamie Osborne earlier this year.
