Verdict

Arthington has shown a decent level of form but, courtesy of wins at Stratford and Plumpton in the summer months, has a double penalty. Kevin Jones’ claim may help his cause but he still has to give weight to the less-exposed BRIANSTORM, who won a point-to-point in Ireland last year and led for a long way in a well-contested bumper at Cheltenham in October - he should make a hurdler. Doctor Haze made a promising debut over timber at Chepstow on his first start for Kim Bailey and also warrants respect but Forgot To Ask needs to improve on his fifth at the same track
