In depth

Verdict

Robin Deuz Pois may do better now handicapping but LAGAVARA (NAP) will enjoy the easy surface having raced solely on good ground since finishing third behind the useful Poppy Kay at Uttoxeter in February when 5lb higher. She’ll strip fitter for a comeback third at Newton Abbot. Miss Fleming hasn’t raced since just beaten in a lesser race at Uttoxeter in June and is 4lb higher while Daytime Ahead has been raised 7lb since winning at Wincanton two weeks ago and was earlier behind the selection at Newton Abbot. Dark Sunset isn’t very big and has a huge weight to carry.
