        Verdict

        Verne Castle finally won when landing a maiden race over track and trip but will find this tougher. Wolverhampton winner Jack The Laird has finished runner-up in five of his last six starts now and Innocently was second again at Catterick last time. Annie Salts has been well beaten either side of winning at Yarmouth so a chance is taken on FLICKA’S BOY bouncing back given he wasn’t beaten far in fifth over the minimum trip at Beverley last time and can race off the same mark here.
