THE DEFIANT added to his good record on the all-weather with a course and distance victory and should go well again in this higher grade. Angle Land beat the selection at Goodwood back in May while Democracy Dilemma won at Thirsk in April. May Sonic won at Southwell earlier while Twilight Madness landed a double at the latter track at the end of last year and Rogue Spirit drops down in class.
