        Verdict

        YOUNG JOHN has hit top form and recorded a couple of easy wins. He defied a penalty to make all over 6f at Newcastle last time having won by six lengths over today’s trip at Leicester before that and the hat-trick beckons for Mike Murphy’s charge. Showmethedough was placed in plating company last time but Crystal Casque makes more appeal on her close-up third at Kempton while Queens Royale has a shout on her fourth at Sandown though that was back in August. Blessed To Empress made the frame at Lingfield on her latest outing but this is tougher.
