Verdict

RHINESTONE won a Thurles bumper before a narrow defeat in a Leopardstown Grade 2 then ran well for a long way in the championship bumper at Cheltenham. He has a superb pedigree and should make a smart hurdler. Empire Burlesque was a long way behind in that Leopardstown event and was eventually well beaten on his hurdling bow at Galway though looks the type to make progress. Classic Concorde was only beaten a neck in a Down Royal bumper in May while Envious Editor went for £195,000 at the sales after scoring between the flags and made a promising bumper debut at Punchestown. Local Rogue ran well for a long way on heavy going at Limerick in April and is one to note for the future.
