In depth

Verdict

HEATHER LARK won a maiden over 1m2f at Newcastle last time with a horse rated 78 back in third and River Glades further behind. There could be more to come over this extra distance and she’s preferred to Father Ailbe. The latter also won over 1m4f at Lingfield before finding one too good over 1m2f here while Deadly Reel returned a losing favourite back in maiden company last time and Betjeman, Blame Me Forever and Global Style all make their handicap debuts.
