Verdict

Bella Colorossa won easily at Kempton last week but was due to run back there yesterday. Captain St Lucifer finally opened his account when successful over track and trip but COPAKE took advantage of a slide down the weights when scoring at Wolverhampton and should go close again racing off a similar mark. James Park Woods finished ahead of Channel Packet when runner-up last time while Dubai Emperor was beaten less than a length despite finishing only fifth at Wolverhampton.
