        Verdict

        Banta Bay went close to winning his first race after 23 attempts when beaten a head over track and trip last time. But Croeso Cymraeg needed only six starts to open his account when successful over 1m4f at Southwell a fortnight ago. The latter should stay this longer trip though FALLS CREEK (NAP) is equally unexposed and, arriving on the back of a recent second over 1m6f at Wolverhampton, it’s Andrew Balding’s filly that gets the vote racing off the same mark today. Caracas is another still looking for his first win along with Gemologist.
