In depth

Verdict

Cowboy Soldier came up short when sent off favourite at Goodwood last time though Ryan Moore’s presence suggests he’s preferred to stablemate Grandfather Tom. The latter finished in front of subsequent winner Wiff Waff at Yarmouth earlier while Joegogo has to race off a higher mark back on the all-weather having won at Wolverhampton in February. But GOLD FILIGREE (NAP) has shown good progress this year recording victories at both this track and Chester and running well in a higher grade at Newmarket last time. She looks capable of going close again and off her current mark and gets the vote.
