        Verdict

        Veteran Shamshon has a chance at the weights but is one of four previous course and distance winners. Storm Melody, the returning I’m Mable and You’re Cool make up the quartet but the latter rarely competes on Polytrack nowadays. PORFIN disappointed when behind Blackcurrent and Amasova at Newcastle last month but is better on Polytrack, as he has shown since at Lingfield and Kempton, so gets the nod.
