Verdict

Goodwood debut winner IMPERIAL FIGHTER is clear top-rated here though has never raced on the all-weather. Runner-up in Group 3's at Newmarket and York, he wasn't beaten far in Doncaster's Futurity and has 2000 Guineas aspirations. Dubai Poet was over two lengths behind in that Group 3 at HQ and looks held but Dark Moon Rising deserves a chance at this grade having landed a lucrative conditions race at Chelmsford and he holds a Dante entry. Implementation travels from France where all of his four runs have been on the all-weather including a victory at Chantilly in February.
